Kevin Seddon is president of HomeSafe Inspection, Inc., the nation's leader in home and termite inspection technology. HomeSafe is the only home inspection company that offers advanced inspections utilizing infrared and acoustic technologies which can, in effect, "see" and "hear" through the walls, floors and ceilings of a property. Prior to establishing HomeSafe, Seddon was Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Publishing, Inc., which produces the hospitality industry's leading trade magazines and the largest food and beverage trade show in the world. Prior to that, he was Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Vision Creek Enterprises, a national marketing firm, and Part Owner and Vice President of Operations of Sair Linux & GNU, the leading developer of training materials and certification examinations for the Linux computer operating system. He is also President and Owner of Sanus Medical Acoustics.
Peng Lee served as Research and Development Engineer at the National Center for Physical Acoustics (NCPA) for 11 years. He designed various highly advanced acoustical systems for the detection of insects, including termites, fire ants, rice weevils, pecan weevils, mole crickets and numerous other destructive pests. In this capacity, he was recruited to assist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's "Operation Full Stop," a project aimed at combating imported Formosan subterranean termite infestations in New Orleans' French Quarter district. He is recognized as one of the nation's premier experts on detection of wood-destroying insects.
Rick Hynum is an experienced, award-winning magazine editor, journalist and communications specialist with nearly 20 years' experience. Before joining HomeSafe, he was Senior Vice President of Publishing for Oxford Publishing, Inc., which produces the nation's leading hospitality magazines and trade shows. He is a former Science Editor for the University of Mississippi's Office of Communications, where he also launched the University's first science magazine, UM Quest, and later served as Editor of the Ole Miss Alumni Review. His newspaper career has included beats covering politics, sports, business and arts and entertainment.
Kirk
Bramlett is an award-winning educator who taught for more than three
decades in the public schools of Mississippi. She served as Faculty
Council President and was selected as the Oxford School District
Teacher of the Year. In 2001 she was inducted into the Mississippi Hall
of Master Teachers. Aside from teaching, her duties included writing
grants, directing an artist-in-residency program, and serving as the
Chairman of the Gifted Assessment Team for her district.
For eight years, Gene Bramlett served on the administrative staff at a public housing authority. In this capacity he performed duties as Administrative Assistant, Computer Specialist, and Occupancy Specialist. Prior to that, he owned and operated a computer retail store. He has also worked as a computer programmer for Security Savings and Loan and has owned his own computer-consulting firm.
